1·Start by using a thin pry tool to removing the silver trim around the radio.

2·Next cover the A/C controls on shift lever with tape and remove the two screws holding the black dash piece around the radio, then remove the dash piece.

3·Disconnect the one wire harness from the dash piece.

4·Then remove the four screws and one 10mm boll holding in the radio.

5·Disconnect the radio’s wire harnesses and the hazard light harness then remove the radio.

6·Bring the radio to the seat and carefully remove the hazard light switch.

7·There are two clips on the top and bottom of the switch which are easy to break. You should pry them off carefully with a pry tool.

8·Now use a small flat head screwdriver to remove the hazard light harness.

The radio has been removed now, after few minutes rest, we can start to install the new Mazda CX-7 Radio.

1·Place the hazard light switch and its harness onto the new aftermarket radio.

2·Now mount the GPS antenna on the outside of the Mazda CX-7, mounting the antenna on the inside of the car may cause it to work improperly.

3·Then connect the new aftermarket radio adaptor harness, the AM/FM adaptor harness, and all optional harnesses.

4·Connect the new aftermarket radio to the harnesses and place it in the dash.
